There are several beaches within walking distance from the Fotinari Villas.

The closest ones are Small Fotinari and Big Fotinari which are unorganised sea coves. The nearest organised beach is Souda Beach.

Due to the location of the villa, you have the advantage of being in the south coast of Crete where you can find some of the most amazing natural beaches in the whole Greece.  Plakias, Damnoni, Schinaria, Triopetra, and Preveli beaches are alternate nearby beaches that we suggest visiting.   All the above beaches are organized but there are sections on those beaches where you could go to be away of the crowd.

From the working harbour of Plakias, there are several boat trips to other beaches and villages along the south coast.  Also there is a watersports center in Damnoni beach.
